2023 LONG RANGE SCHOOL –  LEVEL I DATES NOW AVAILABLE

LEVEL I COURSE is our basic / entry level Long Range shooting course.  This course is open to anyone wanting to learn the basics of shooting and marksmanship plus introduction into the technical data used to shoot distances from 200+ yard to 1 mile.  This course is primarily taught by Fierce LR Instructors, John Mogle and Ammon Tenney.  Other LR course contributors include Courtney Crane, and Gage Mogle.

Topics will be presented and discussed in the classroom followed up with hands on application at the shooting range.  This shooting course is right outside the backdoors of the Fierce Firearms Headquarters in Redmond, UT.  Our shooting course is a combination of steel targets and steel life sized animals to add levels of realism to your experience.  Course participants will begin with baseline of 100 or 200 yard accuracy of their rifle.  Course instructors will methodically extend your shooting range out to 400, 500, 600 yards and beyond.  The LR course capstone will feature a challenging shooting competition between you and your fellow classmates.  Competition will test your application of the skills and techniques taught during the course.

LEVEL I – BASIC COURSE FEATURES:

• Long Range rifle + scope setup and equipment
• Shooting fundamentals + pre-shot routine through trigger pull
• Introduction of MOA (minute of angle) and ballistics
• Analyzing and shooting in various environments, elevation and weather elements (wind, heat mirage)
• Shooting positions and techniques
